Peter Gerdsen Essay Prize

The Peter Gerdsen Foundation annually awards two essay prizes, each worth €1,200 (first prize) and €800 (second prize). The prize is awarded without age restriction for innovative ideas and unusual perspectives in the field of cultural studies teaching and research that represent progress in the thinking of society. The essays must be written exclusively for the Yearbook of Thought .

The jury for the selection of the award winners consists of the founder and the management   the Peter Gerdsen Foundation.
